Meet Saturday, May 14th at Ryser and Cedar at 11:00 am. The parade starts at noon. We are #38 so we should be done fairly quickly. Returning cheerleaders wear your uniform and everyone else where cheer attire or purple and gold.
If you have NOT turned in your Uniform Detail report please get them to me Saturday ... I NEED to submit our orders.

Reminder
This Saturday, May 7 from 10:30 to 2:15 is the Kid's Fair at Carrie Blake Park. Please wear something cheer associated or purple and gold. We will be face painting ... so come with your creative juices flowing ... ha ha.
Monday, May 9th from 3-5 we have practice. We will be going over parade details, making some signs for the car wash, finishing up any incomplete paperwork, receiving car wash tickets, paying the uniform deposits and approving the detail order sheets for each individual uniform order. So ... if you are NOT participating in the parade you can still attend the practice Monday since that is just a small portion of what we will be accomplishing that day. See you all then.
On a side note ... I have been texting, blogging, emailing, facebooking, etc. and still haven't heard from some of you. Please understand that there is 32 of you and only 1 of me ... so help me out and respond to the texts, emails, etc. It is your responsibility to check the blog for updated information. If you have a preferred method of contact (email, text, phone call, etc.) let me know and I will make it a priority to use that method to relay messages to you.

Uniform Fittings
MANDATORY uniform fittings Saturday, April 23 at 9 am in the cheer room ... located in the community school gym. Wear a bathing suit under your clothes so that you can easily change in and out of uniform pieces. REMINDER: NO PARENTS allowed in the cheer room during uniform fittings.

2011-2012 SHS Cheerleading Squads
Congratulations to all the girls who made the 2011-2012 cheer teams!! Varsity: Mackenzie Hagstrom, Taylor Willis, Annika Lawrence, Chantelle Holgerson, Laura Rutherford, Brooke Parsinen, Shelbie LeStage, Chyrell Jones, Grace Koenigsaecker, Columbia Haupt, Alexi Nelson, Haley Montelius, Jennifer Morelos, Jennifer Welches, Bailey Rookard, Lavee Hess, Sabrina Marunde, Andrea Winans, Virginia Everett Whew ... and yes, you counted correctly that's a total of 19 cheerleaders! 19 cheerleaders and counting ... ha ha JV: Gabi Halady, Ashley Westrem, Halle Beck, Kaylee Ditlefsen, Shannon Bish, Hailey Lester, Riesa Sumida, Mia Vong, Maria Bainbridge, Nicole Brown, Erica Armstrong, Analise Keehn, Stephanie Laurie 13 total JV cheerleaders I would also like to formally welcome Julie Leaf, our new JV assistant coach!! Julie is a SHS graduate who cheered all 4 years. Julie is getting ready to graduate this June in hopes of becoming a teacher at SHS. We are so blessed to have her joining our program. Banquet details ...
Come celebrate with us ...
This year our banquet, themed 'Movie Premiere Night', is on March 22nd from 5-8 pm in the SHS library. We will celebrate a great season with food catered by Dynasty Restaurant. The cost is $15 per cheerleader/stuntman and that also covers the participant's immediate family members.
The movie being shown, filled with various 2010-2011 memories, courtesy of Carmen Wiker will be accompanied by traditional theater treats and popcorn. There will be a photo booth available to all attendees in order to capture lasting photos of the friendships made throughout the year ... so feel free to bring your camera.
The attire can be anywhere from semi-formal (like what I will be wearing) to casual dressy. Have fun with your outfit but please keep in mind that this is considered a school function so appropriate attire only. We will also recognize outstanding participants and parents. Please come ready to celebrate and have some fun!!
